Grant's Gang is comprised of friends, family, and supporters with the goal to bring more local awareness to Duchenne MD. On January 17, 2010, Grant's dad Heinrich, along with an amazing group of neighbors and friends, ran to support research to find a CURE for a disease that takes away a young boys' ability to run, walk, move, and eventually breathe.
Heinrich, along with Billy and Tanni Gerwick, competed in the Half-Marathon, while Erin Hehr ran the distance (over 26 miles) in the Full-Marathon. They all poured blood, sweat, and tears into training for the run -- but, it pales in comparison to the battle that Duchenne boys like Grant face.
With the help of the Gerwicks, the Hehrs, and supporters like you, we can make a real difference in the lives of boys with Duchenne. We are so grateful to have the support of Grant's Gang in our battle against this disease.
